History
1. There will be a brief quiz on Hinduism on Friday, Oct. 10th. A study guide will be handed out on Monday.
2. Election homework will also be handed out in class in first block this week and due in second block.

Language Arts

6th grade language arts:
1. Complete pages 15 through 20 of The Hindu Reader packets.
Due Friday, Oct. 10th.
2. Wordly Wise unit 1 test on Thursday, Oct. 9th

7th grade language arts:
1. Complete comma work, pages 5 through 12, in your Inside Writing workbooks. Due Wed., Oct. 8th.
2. Complete pages 15 through 20 of The Hindu Reader packets.
Due Friday, Oct. 10th.
3. Wordly Wise unit 2 is due Wednesday, October 15th.

8th grade language arts:
1. Complete The Hindu Reader packet pages 15 through 26. Due on Friday, Oct. 10th.
2. Write a literary log to your partner. The topic is your favorite books when you were little (before you could read to yourself). It’s not a list----write about the books, the experiences of hearing them read to you and so on. Did you also look at them yourself? Do you remember who read them to you? Did you ever go to library story times? These are just questions to get you started. Due on Friday, Oct 10th. Let your partner read it in class, but then turn them in.
