Humanities and Language Arts Homework
Week of 10/9/07
History:
1. Many of the river glossaries were incomplete and/or poorly completed. We’ll review them in class and those of you who need to complete and/or re do it will be notified.
Due in first block next week.
2. If you didn’t complete Rivers and Continents, you must complete 4 of the 8 rivers by your first block next week.
Language Arts:
6th grade
1. Write a literary log to an adult in your home. Due on Thursday, Oct. 11th. Your parent/guardian will receive it at the parent evening on Thursday evening.
You may write about the book you’re currently reading and/or choose from the many topics posted in the front of your literary log.
2. Write a book review about the book you’ve just completed. Due on Tuesday, Oct. 16th.
You’ll begin in language arts class. Book review explanations are on the reverse.
3. We will begin Wordly Wise #2 in class on Tuesday. I will let you know then how much will be due by Friday. We will have a test on unit one next Tuesday, October 16.
7th grade
