Middle School Humanities and Language Arts Homework
Week of May 19, 2008
History
All grades:
You will be given a map of the Mayans to complete for homework. Due Tuesday, May 27th, for all blocks.
6th/7th graders
1. Work on your display and 3 dimensional projects.
2. Work on revisions and editing of your rough draft. The final report is due on May 29th, along with the display and 3 dimensional projects.
8th graders
1. This is the final stretch. The 8th grade project exhibition is next Tuesday, May 27th.
Language Arts
6th
1. Wordly Wise unit 9 due next Tuesday, May 27th.
7th
1. Complete the literary log to your partner about one or more literary elements in the current book you’re reading. Due Wed., May 21st. You have had several handouts on literary elements. If you’ve forgotten, ask Elena for a copy.
2. Wordly Wise unit 12 due Wed., May 27th.
8th
1. Lines, lines, lines.
2. Project, project, project.
