EIGHTH GRADE PROJECT -------Final Due Dates

Thursday, March 18th First draft of your outline is due
Friday, March 26th Write a rough draft of your 1st two sections (II and III)
March 29-April 6th Spring Break (Use this time to complete all research)
Friday, April 9th Proposal for your visual component is due (a form will be handed out) and your introduction are due.
Friday, April1 16th Rough draft of next 2 sections (IV and V)
Friday, April 23rd Rough draft of next 2 sections (VI and VII)
Friday, April 30th All final sections are due (entire rough draft must be completed!)
May 3rd-May 14th Work on your visual component
May 17th-May 28th Make all revisions and complete the written project
June 2nd 8th grade project night!



REQUIREMENTS REMINDER
1. The final project will be composed of two parts:
a. A written report of a minimum of 10 pages to 15 pages in length. It needs to be word-processed using a common font, size 12, spaced 1.5 spaces. This is worth 65 % of the grade.
b. The second part is a visual presentation and/or demonstration/presentation.
This is worth 35 % of the grade. It needs to be very thorough and visually attractive.
