Language Arts and Humanities Homework
Week of April 6, 2010


History
1. All grades: Questions on chapters 5, 6, and 7 of reading on Abraham Lincoln. You read these chapters the week before spring break.
Due on Friday, 4/9/10 --- Block I, Monday, 4/12----Blocks II and III
2. History Research Project for 6th/7th graders listed under grade level below.
3. An extra credit assignment is on the blog.

Language Arts
6th Grade
1. Work for 1.5 hours, reading and taking notes, for your research project by Thursday, April 7th.

2. Wordly Wise will be assigned in class today. Do A through D in unit 6 by Thursday, April 7th.

7th Grade
1. You were to have completed Night by the end of spring break. Complete the reading guide #5, questions 3 through 7. Do question #8 in your literary log. Due on Wednesday, 4/7/10.

2. More on Night will be assigned Wednesday in class and due on Friday, 4/9/10.

3. Bring all history report sources to class THIS Wednesday, 4/7/10. Your first set of note cards (8 cards MINIMUM) is due next Wednesday, 4/14/10.

8th Grade
1. Write a sonnet. Due on Friday, 4/9/10. We will begin in class on Thursday.
2. Write 2 pages of your 8th grade project, not counting the introduction (for some of you, this will be 1 section or less, for others it may be 2 or 3 sections). Due on Friday, 4/9/10.
